Ackworth PramFest has raised an incredible £16,170 for our Hospice, with hundreds of people coming together for another day of racing, fundraising and community spirit.

Patients at our Hospice were delighted to welcome Nico, a retired racehorse, and Poppy, a Shetland Pony, from New Beginnings for a special visit on Thursday 8 October.

Castleford Tigers supporter Glyn Jepson has raised an impressive £8,685 through his Centenary Walk, a 100-mile fundraising challenge celebrating 100 years of Castleford Tigers.

For Richard Gunther, taking on a 190-mile bike ride through Yorkshire and Humberside was about much more than the challenge itself. It was a way to give something back to The Prince of Wales Hospice, after his family experienced the care and support of our team during one of the most difficult times in their lives.

August was another brilliant month of fundraising and community support for The Prince of Wales Hospice. From fundraising challenges and charity events to grants and long-term partnerships, there were lots of different ways people supported our Hospice throughout the month.

We are urging people to consider leaving a gift in their Will, as new figures highlight the growing pressure on hospice and end of life care.
