From golf days and sponsored challenges to generous grants and businesses supporting our events, July has been a brilliant month of fundraising for The Prince of Wales Hospice.

This August, our Hospice was proud to take part in two Pride events, bringing colleagues and members of our local community together to celebrate Pride, inclusion and being ourselves.

Our annual Ison Harrison & PWH Golf Open has raised an impressive £11,600, as businesses from across the region came together at Pontefract and District Golf Club to support local hospice care.

A creative project led by one of our Wellbeing Volunteers, Wendy Ronaldson, has brought patients, families, carers, staff, volunteers and community groups together to create a stunning collaborative artwork for our Hospice.

It was great to welcome Toby Porter, CEO of Hospice UK, to the Hospice again last week.

A team of dedicated employees from Northside Truck & Van have raised an incredible £5,556 for our Hospice after taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.

For one special evening this October, the people who make hospice care possible will come together under one roof.

For Angela Enever, playing the Local Hospice Lottery has always been about supporting a local cause close to her heart. Winning a £2,000 prize was an unexpected bonus.
