Light Up a Life gives us the chance to come together to reflect and remember those we hold dear, and we hope that every dedication will bring comfort and hope to our community.

Ella’s Story

A very special little girl called Ella will be supporting our Hospice this Christmas in memory of her Great Grandad Derek. Ella has made a very special Christmas craft kit for our patients and their families. Because of Ella our patients and their loved ones will have the chance to create lovely keepsakes and wonderful memories that will last forever.

Ella has made a very special gift for Light Up a Life this year, a beautiful bauble that you can place on your own tree at home to remind you of the light that shines at the Hospice for your loved one and the memories that are so precious. When you donate £15 or more we will send you your bauble but please be aware that we only have a limited number.

Light up a Life Remembrance Events

As part of the appeal, we hold special Light up a Life events where people are invited to come together to remember loved ones and light a candle in their memory.

These quiet, reflective events take place at different locations, offering a peaceful space to pause, remember and reflect during the Christmas season.

You are welcome to attend one or more events, and everyone is invited to take part.
