Supporters gathered for a truly special evening at Giving from the Art, an inspiring event that beautifully combined creativity, community, and compassion.
Held at the stunning Rogerthorpe Manor and hosted by Gaynor Barnes, the evening brought together art lovers and Hospice supporters for a memorable night of artwork, canapés, and giving back.
Organised by Lynette Carlton, a dedicated member of our Supporter Engagement Forum, the event featured an incredible collection of generously donated artwork.
Each piece told its own story, including a contribution from one of our patients, which made the evening all the more meaningful. Guests were also treated to a live painting session by artist Sandra Openshaw, adding energy and creativity to an already vibrant atmosphere.
Thanks to everyone’s kindness and generosity, the auction raised an amazing £2,357.85 for the hospice, funds that will go on to support vital care for those who need it most.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Lynette Carlton for organising such a wonderful event, Rogerthorpe Manor for generously providing the venue free of charge, Gaynor Barnes for hosting the evening, Campsall Art Group for the use of their easels, and Sandra Openshaw for her live painting, as well as everyone who donated artwork, attended, and showed their support.
If you feel inspired by this fantastic evening, why not consider hosting your own fundraising event to support the Hospice? Alternatively, you can explore our upcoming events here and find a way to get involved. Every contribution helps us continue providing compassionate care when it matters most.
