Join Castleford Tigers supporter Glyn Jepson for a landmark fundraising challenge, in aid of The Prince of Wales Hospice and Castleford Tigers Foundation (Tigers Trust).
Take on a 100‑mile walk over five days, celebrating 100 years of Castleford Tigers (1926–2026). This exciting challenge is taking place from Wednesday 1 July to Sunday 5 July 2026. The Centenary Walk will start at the home of Castleford Tigers and finish at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool, arriving in time for the Tigers’ Magic Weekend fixture against Wakefield Trinity. The event is open to everyone, whether you’d like to take on the full challenge or join for a shorter section along the way.
Daily Walking Schedule
The walk has been carefully planned with regular breaks throughout the day.
Days 1–4
- 8:30am – 1:00pm – Morning walking session
- 1:00pm – 2:00pm – Lunch break (pub stop)
- 2:00pm – 4:00pm – Afternoon walking session
- 4:00pm – 5:00pm – Rest break (pub stop)
- 5:00pm – 6:00pm – Final walking session
Day 5
- 8:30am – 10:30am – Morning walking session
- 10:30am – 11:00am – Break (café stop)
- 11:00am – 12:30pm – Final walking session and arrival

- Join the walk, take on the full route, a full day, or a shorter section – everyone is welcome!
- Walk the first two miles through Castleford
- Join the final mile into Magic Weekend
- Help with transport, wellbeing or practical support
All funds raised will be split:
- 60% to The Prince of Wales Hospice
- 40% to Castleford Tigers Foundation (Tigers Trust)

Participants are responsible for covering their own expenses, including travel, accommodation and personal costs.
