A point of clarification
The country is in the midst of local election season. We would like to provide assurance at this time, as a non-political organisation and in accordance with Charity Commission rules around political activity, we do not endorse any political candidates or parties. Recently, the Hospice was quoted as endorsing local ward councillors. Whilst we are grateful for the support of our local councillors when securing funding for hospice projects, we should not have been quoted as an endorsement for election campaign purposes. We work with whoever is in office in furtherance of our charitable aims.
