Jean feels trusted, valued and loved as a volunteer
Jean started volunteering to meet new people when she moved to the area. Fifteen years later, she’s still creating beautiful window displays and keeping the shop looking fresh. Jean is a real all-rounder. She heads up our shoe and bag department and has a great eye for style. Customers love her, whether she’s helping them find the perfect handbag or giving fashion advice, Jean always goes the extra mile. She’s even happy to jump on the till when needed.
We asked Jean what she loves most about volunteering: “I love that little shop and get a real buzz from the money we make daily. Louise gives me the freedom to create displays, and I know she trusts me. No two days are the same, and you never know what will be donated next!”
The shop is a fun, warm place, and I’d be lost without it.
