Gift Aid is a UK government scheme that allows charities like The Prince of Wales Hospice to claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate at no extra cost to you.
This means your support goes further, helping us provide even more care and support to patients, carers and families in our community.
Gift Aid helps your donation go further.
When you make a donation and complete a Gift Aid declaration, we can claim back the tax you’ve already paid on that money from HM Revenue & Customs. This increases the value of your donation without affecting your personal finances.
For example:
- You donate £10
- We can claim an extra £2.50
- Total value to the hospice: £12.50

How to sign up
Completing a Gift Aid declaration is simple:
- Click the button below
- Fill in your details on the Gift Aid form
- Submit the form to us
Once completed, we can claim Gift Aid on your past donations (if eligible) and future ones.
After you submit the form
Once we receive your Gift Aid declaration:
- We’ll register it with our fundraising team
- Gift Aid will be applied to eligible donations you’ve made in the past 4 years and future ones
- We’ll send a confirmation email or letter if you requested one
You can cancel your Gift Aid declaration at any time by contacting us.
