Raffles and how to take part

Take part in The Prince of Wales Hospice raffles and support specialist care for people across the Five Towns community. Your ticket helps us continue providing compassionate support to local patients and families.

Winner Spotlight

Elaine visited the Hospice with her grandson Henry to collect her first‑prize winnings from our New Year Raffle. A supporter for over 10 years, she began donating after her niece received care here and continues to play the Local Hospice Lottery and support our appeals. Elaine said, “I couldn’t believe it… I just kept saying, I’ve won, I’ve won! I never expected to win anything I just wanted to support the Hospice.” She plans to put her prize money towards a special family holiday.

Our raffles help support the Five Towns community

Our raffles give supporters in Pontefract, Castleford, Normanton, Featherstone, Knottingley, and the wider Five Towns area an easy and enjoyable way to get involved. Each raffle includes a selection of prizes, with winning numbers drawn at random and published online. Tickets can be purchased through our Hospice, our charity shops, or our fundraising team.

Raffles form part of our wider fundraising activities, helping us care for nearly 2,000 local people each year.

Every ticket matters

Every ticket sold helps The Prince of Wales Hospice provide round‑the‑clock care for people living with life‑limiting illnesses and their families. Your support ensures patients receive comfort, dignity, and compassion when they need it most.

How you can get invovled

You can get involved by purchasing raffle tickets whenever a draw is open. Tickets may be available at the Hospice, across our charity shops, by phone, or via our fundraising team.

Each raffle will list its prize information, closing dates, and draw details. After the draw, winners are contacted directly and results are published on our website.
