Elf Run

Sunday 1st Nov 2026 – Friday 18th Dec 2026

Children and adults in elf hats pose with hospice-support signs in front of a Menzies Distribution truck.

Event Overview

Bring some festive fun to your school this Christmas with The Prince of Wales Hospice Elf Run!

We’re inviting schools across our local community to organise their own Elf Run, giving pupils the chance to dress up in their elf hats, get active and raise money to support local patients and their families.

The best part? Your school can make it your own! Choose a date that works for you, decide which year groups will take part and create a course in your playground, sports field or another suitable space on your school grounds.

Whether pupils walk, jog or run, the Elf Run is a fun and inclusive way to bring everyone together, spread some Christmas cheer and make a difference to your local Hospice.

The Elf Run is kindly sponsored by Menzies Distribution and Hannah Davies Personal Estate Agent. We’re incredibly grateful for their support.

How to get involved

Ready to take part in the Elf Run? Get in touch with our Fundraising Team at fundraising@pwh.org.uk to let us know your school or group would like to get involved.

Our team will arrange for your Elf Run packs, including elf hats, sponsorship forms and certificates, to be sent out to you.

You can then choose a date that suits your school and plan your own festive fundraising event!

Each participating child will receive an Elf Run pack containing:

  • An elf hat to get into the festive spirit
  • A sponsorship form with fun activities
  • A certificate to celebrate taking part

You can also set up an online fundraising page for your school or individual pupils.

Create your fundraising page

If creating a page for an individual child, please include their school name so we can keep track of their fundraising.

Every pound raised will help The Prince of Wales Hospice continue providing vital care and support to patients and their families across our local community.
