Monday 11th Jan 2027 – Friday 15th Jan 2027
Overview
Make life a little easier after Christmas and support The Prince of Wales Hospice at the same time!
Our wonderful volunteers will collect your real Christmas tree from your home in exchange for a donation. Once collected, the trees will be chipped and recycled to help make biofuel, so they won’t end up in landfill.
Where and when are we collecting?
Our Christmas Tree Collection will take place from Monday 11 to Friday 15 January 2027.
We are collecting from the following postcode areas:
- WF4 1 and WF4 2
- WF6
- WF7
- WF8
- WF9
- WF10
- WF11
- LS25 5 and LS25 7
- LS26 9
The deadline to register your tree is Wednesday 6 January 2027.
How does it work?
Register your Christmas tree before the deadline and our volunteers will arrange to collect it from your home during the collection period.
In exchange, we ask for a donation to support the care we provide to local patients and their loved ones.
Every tree collected and every donation made helps us continue providing care and support to local patients and their families.
Did you know that, on average, £20 could cover the care of one patient for one hour?
We will also be donating 10% of the funds raised back to our local community. Further details will be shared once this has been confirmed.
Register your Christmas tree
Don’t miss the deadline! Make sure you register your tree by 6 January 2027 to take part in our Christmas Tree Collection.
