Fundraising for The Prince of Wales Hospice is a powerful way to support local people when they need it most. Whether you take on a personal challenge, organise an event, or join one of ours, every pound you raise helps us continue providing care, comfort and support.
You don’t need to be an expert fundraiser — just bring your idea and your enthusiasm, and we’ll support you along the way.
Why your fundraising matters
We are a registered charity and need to raise around £3.5 million each year to continue supporting our patients and their families. While we do receive some funding from the NHS, this covers only around 35% of our costs. The rest comes from the generosity of local people — which means your fundraising really does make a difference to people in our community.
