Our Impact in the Community

29 January 2026

This year, your support helped us be there for over 2,000 local people, patients, carers and families across the Five Towns. Every contact, visit and shared moment matters, and together we’ve made thousands of those moments possible.

Behind each story is a stark reality: only about 35% of our funding comes from the NHS, so we rely on our community to raise around £3.5 million annually to keep care free at the point of need. Thank you for helping bridge that gap.

Highlights:

  • Care & Wellbeing: More counselling, drop ins and therapy groups in the community, plus accessible bathing and information sessions.
  • Events & Fundraising: From Sunset Stroll to festive appeals, supporters raised vital funds that translate directly into patient care.
  • Our Place: We completed the redevelopment of our gardens, creating calm, accessible outdoor spaces for reflection, connection and wellbeing.
  • The Caring Kitchen grew its community catering offer; every booking helps fund patient care.

Thank you to our donors, partners, volunteers and staff. Your kindness makes expert, compassionate care possible today and for the future.
