This Christmas, something very special appeared at Delta Academy – a Giving Tree with our patients and families in mind.
The idea was simple but powerful: choose a tag and donate the gift written on the tag for someone spending time at the hospice over the festive period. Delta Academy set up the tree and collected all the gifts.
The response was amazing. Donations included skincare, festive treats, puzzles, colouring books, and even extra surprises like LEGO sets and Christmas Eve boxes.
Our Wellbeing team will use these gifts to make personalised hampers for patients and their loved ones. These hampers will bring comfort and joy to those who need it most.
We are so grateful to Delta Academy and everyone who contributed. Your kindness has made a real difference this Christmas.
