Students spread holiday cheer with festive carols
In the spirit of spreading joy and warmth during the holiday season, students of local schools from Pontefract Academies Trust have brought the gift of music to our Incare ward.

The children had their infectious smiles, beautiful singing voices which created a festive atmosphere, lifting the spirits of patients, families and staff at the Hospice.

Jo Schofield, Director of Clinical Services says: “It is such a joy to have the children come to the Hospice and fill the ward with their beautiful singing, our hard working staff and volunteers look forward to it every year. The carols boost our patients’ wellbeing and spread that festive feeling.”

We have a great partnership with Pontefract Academies Trust, and are really grateful to be surrounded by local schools that always want to get involved with helping the Hospice. Over 30 schools are currently taking part in our Reindeer Run challenge!
