Statement on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II

The Hospice is shocked and deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty the Queen.
 
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II dedicated her life in service to this country. She is the longest reigning monarch in our history and the only monarch many of us will have ever known having celebrated her Platinum Jubilee earlier this year.
 
She was a pillar of our nation, an inspiration to the world, and well loved.
 
Our thoughts are with her children and family at this extremely difficult time.
 
Please, be assured that our vital services for local families will continue unaffected.
