Spotlight on our volunteers - Meet Meredith, the college student
Our young volunteer has recently started to support us as she has some free time beside her college studies.

She explained: “I go to college and study Maths, Arts and Business. I have some spare time so I thought I could support The Prince Of Wales Hospice. I come to the Hospice on two afternoons for a couple of hours and do bits and bobs at the reception, some admin jobs and help out wherever I can. There is always something to do.”

When Meredith is not at college she loves drawing, painting and catching up with her friends. She enjoys volunteering. She says it is fun and a really good thing to do. She can learn new skills that she can include in her CV. She definitely recommends volunteering.

She said: “In the past I occasionally supported the Hospice at events such as Cyclothon and the Pen-Y-Ghent Challenge. This year, I’ll try to attend the Three Peaks Challenge and the Skydive and raise some money for Hospice care.”

We thank to Meredith for her support and wish her the best for the upcoming challenge events.
