Our Summer Fair was a great success

Families and friends had great fun at our yearly Summer Fair and almost £5000 was raised for patient care.

The popular event took place in the Hospice gardens on Sunday, 26 June 2022 and was kindly sponsored by Haribo.

There were lots of entertainment including music and singing by the Kings’ School Choir and the Larks Hill School Choir, cake stall by Jess and pupils from Carlton School, flowers stall, crafts stall, Build a Bear, car exhibition, fire engine, raffle and tombola and more. Children loved our special guests, Haribo Goldbear and Hospice Hero girl and boy.

Julie Beaman, Corporate Communications Assistant at Haribo, commented: “We always look forward to the summer and this wonderful event, which we have had the pleasure of sponsoring for several years. It always raises a smile by bringing families together to enjoy an afternoon of music, games and fun. Let’s not forget that it is also a fantastic way to generate much needed funds for the charity.”
