Featherstone Rovers form partnership with The Prince of Wales Hospice
Featherstone Rovers CEO Martin Vickers along with Mathieu Cozza and Thomas Lacans visited the Hospice back in February and were shown around the ward to give them an understanding of the vital work that that the doctors and nurses do on a day-to-day basis.

Adrian Greenwood, Fundraising Manager said “For us at the Hopsice we are very excited to be working alongside the Featherstone Rovers. We work in the Five Towns district and it is important for us to do more in the Featherstone area, we want to be seen to be working with and helping people in the Featherstone community.”

Martin Vickers commented: “We feel as though this partnership is well overdue as one of the club’s key pillars is its place in the local community, the Hospice is a charity very close to the hearts of many members of our community as well as a great number of our commercial partners. We’re so proud to be able to touch the lives of people in some of the most challenging of circumstances and hopefully bring them some joy.”

As part of the partnership commitment, the Hospice will run various events at The Millennium Stadium and the partnership will see players supporting the Hospice in the charitable work that they do.
