Cheers to Heineken!

Beer brand, Heineken have teamed up with the Neighbourly Community Fund during the Coronavirus pandemic to support local causes across the UK, including The Prince of Wales Hospice.

We have been awarded a £400 micro-grant through the Neighbourly Community Fund, which supports businesses to invest in meaningful community causes.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Heineken, for their support, the  grant we received could fund the running of one of our Incare beds for a day, enabling us to support patients at these difficult times. The Hospice has continued to support people in the Five Towns community with a life-limiting illness throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, and without funding from generous supporters like Heineken, this wouldn't have been possible. With funding to support our work, we've been able to concentrate on providing the very best care, and working through challenging circumstances. We have worked hard to ensure patients can stay in touch with their loved ones, including through facilitating video conferencing and connecting heart. These hearts are lovingly handcrafted in pairs by people in our community, with one given to each patient, and the matching one sent to a friend or family member. Thank you to Heineken for making this possible.
