Catching up with Club 5 member, JWP Solicitors
In our Club 5 programme, you will be part of an exclusive membership group made up of like-minded businesses, giving you the chance to network and be part of a community with limitless potential!

Not only is the club extremely beneficial for your firm, but it helps fund the vital care and ensure that the Hospice’s doors are open for those who need it the most.

Maybe you’ve looked into the membership programme but want to hear it from someone already signed up? Well, we’ve got you covered…

We caught up with Delia Crofts-Turnbull, one of the Family Solicitors at JWP Solicitor’s Pontefract office, to talk about the benefits of being a member.

Before starting at JWP Solicitors, Delia always held the company in high regard and one she well respected, so after being head hunted by the company was one of her biggest achievements so far.

“Our ethos is ‘work hard and play hard’ and the directors manage the team on a very human level,” she told us.

“We have the human touch. We see people as human beings needing help when they are vulnerable and we are always sensitive to their individual needs.”

JWP Solicitors has supported the Hospice for many years, and enjoy seeing the benefits of helping a good cause.

“It’s great to be able to give something back to our community,” Delia explains.

“Many of us have seen first-hand the great work that the Hospice do, so it’s a privilege to be able to help out in some way.”

In addition to being a member of our Club 5, JWP Solicitors have undertaken other fundraising events in aid of the Hospice, including the sponsorship of our 2020 Light up a Life campaign, alongside sponsoring this April’s Make a Will Week and donating gifts for raffle prizes.

Club 5 is a great way to network and JWP Solicitors have found this out by building relationships with local business. As solicitors, the firm generally gets a lot of custom from referrals and recommendations, so they found the networking side was a great tool to build relationships.

We asked Delia what she would say to people who are on the fence about joining, and she said: “Give it a shot. As a minimum you’ll help out a local charity and meet influential people from the local business community. What’s to lose!”
