Giving in memory

It is always difficult losing someone close to you. Did you know there are many ways to leave a lasting tribute to your loved one while supporting the Hospice? All of the tributes below are available to everyone, not just those who have been in our care.

Funeral Collection - Donation in lieu of funeral flowers

You may decide to ask for donations instead of flowers at the funeral of your loved one. We can provide donation envelopes or boxes for family and friends. Donations can also be made online.

When you make a donation in memory of a loved one, we will send you a special card with forget me not seeds for you to plant in your garden, as a
lasting memory of your loved one.

Forget Me Not tribute pages

A special page collects together all the gifts in memory of your loved ones in one place. This lasting online tribute shows a grand total of the amount raised, which can be added to over time. You can personalise the page with memories, stories and photos. Family and friends can donate or fundraise in their honour too.

Celebration Tree

Our Celebration Tree is a beautifully artistic symbol
of life and love. The many leaves come together to
signify strength and support of our community, and
stand as a tribute to those we love. You can dedicate a leaf or acorn on our tree as a one-off donation or by making a monthly gift spread over the year.

Celebration Pavers

Our celebration pavers are located in the peace and tranquility of the Hospice gardens. They are a fantastic way to remember a loved one. For a single brick paver, we suggest a donation of £75 and £100 for a double paver.

Light up a Life

We invite you to remember your loved one by dedicating a light on our Christmas tree in our Light up a Life appeal. You will receive a dedication card and also be invited to attend one of our Light up a Life events, that take place throughout the local community in December.
