About Paul James

Paul was a loving family man, full of life and had many hobbies. He was a black belt in Kung Fu and an instructor. From the age of 12 he had a love and passion for target shooting and went on to win two world championships.

Sadly, in 2011 Paul was diagnosed with cancer and he was admitted to The Prince of Wales Hospice on two occasions for pain control and then a third time where he received end of life care.

Paul’s daughter, Danielle, was inspired to pursue a career in nursing after she observed the amazing care Paul received from the nursing staff and she is in her final year at university. She has just completed a two months placement at the Prince of Wales Hospice and she hopes to return in the future.

Family and friends of Paul continue to support the Prince of Wales Hospice for the fantastic care that they provide.
