How your donations in our charity shops help our Hospice

Each year our charity shops raise a phenomenal amount of money helping fund Hospice care for our local community and 2022 was no exception!

Castleford shop: your donations made £109,822 in sales; you donated 7,417 bags of items; you raised an extra £8,631 by adding Gift Aid. All of this funded a patient room for 9 months.
 
Featherstone shop: your donations made £122,044 in sales; you donated 9,533 bags of items; you raised an extra £16,883 by adding Gift Aid. All of this funded a patient room for 10 months.
 
Fitzwilliam shop: your donations made £63,307 in sales; you donated 9,939 bags of items; you raised an extra £6,012 by adding Gift Aid. All of this funded a patient room for 5 months.
 
Furniture shop: your donations made £171,976 in sales; you raised an extra £6,566 by adding Gift Aid. All of this funded one patient room for 13 months.
 
Hemsworth shop: your donations made £117,920 in sales; you donated 8,443 bags of items; you raised an extra £13,168 by adding Gift Aid. All of this funded one patient room for 10 months.
 
Hospice shop: your donations made £5,512 in sales; you raised an extra £209 by adding Gift aid. All of this funded nearly a full day of running our Incare ward.
 
Kippax shop: your donations made £84,372 in sales; you donated 7,665 bags of items; you raised and extra £5,498 by adding Gift Aid. All of this funded a patient room for 7 months.
 
Knottingley shop: your donations made £139,436 in sales; you donated 13,329 bags of items; you raised an extra £6,452 by adding Gift Aid. All of this funded a patient room for 11 months.
 
Normanton shop: your donations made £104,256 in sales; you donated 7,499 bags of items; you raised an extra £3,639 by adding Gift Aid. All of this funded a patient room for 8 months.
 
Pontefract shop: your donations made £248,820 in sales; you donated 12,012 bags of items; you raised an extra £13,344 by adding Gift Aid. All of this funded one patient room for a year and another for 7 months.
 
South Elmsall shop: your donations made £151,295 in sales; you donated 2,059 bags of items; you raised an extra £7,417 by adding Gift Aid. All of this funded a patient room for a year.
 
The stock donations made across all our shops, prevented 623 tonnes (125 elephants worth!) of unwanted items going to landfill.
