Family's Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge raises nearly £4,000 in memory of Terry Fisher Family's Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge raises nearly £4,000 in memory of Terry Fisher
In loving memory of Terry Fisher, his family embarked on a challenging journey to conquer the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Their remarkable effort raised an astonishing £3,985 for The Prince of Wales Hospice, which provided Terry with comfort and care during his final days.

In January 2023, Terry Fisher lost his courageous nine-month fight against the devastating stage 4 brain tumor. During his difficult journey, our Hospice became the place for Terry, where we provided round a clock specialist care for him, and also support for his family.

In August, his family and friends decided to take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks in Terry’s memory. Their motivation was simple yet powerful: to express their gratitude for the care Terry received during his time at the Hospice and to ensure that others in the local community facing life-limiting illnesses and their families receive the same level of care and support.

The family said: "We cannot thank the Hospice enough for the compassion and care they gave him but also for the support they gave us as a family.”

The incredible fundraising effort will help us continue our mission of providing care to those who need it the most. Terry's legacy lives on, thank you so much.
