A right royal BBQ

The weather stayed on our side on Tuesday, 2 May as we celebrated The Kings Coronations in our Hospice gardens.
 
We invited all colleagues, volunteers, patients and their families, to celebrate this significant event with us. The beautiful gardens were the ideal setting so our Incare patients had the opportunity to join us. We were able to sit back and relax in the afternoon sun and patients and their families were able to create special memories together.
 
Our Wellbeing team put together a fantastic quiz and treasure hunt, and The Caring Kitchen served up some delicious food and a range of sweet treats.
 
Jo Dunford, Wellbeing Lead said: “We had to do something to mark this momentous occasion. Our craft groups have been hard at work making coronation bunting and our volunteers have helped set up the royal quiz and treasure hunt, it was a fantastic afternoon and brilliant to see everybody enjoying themselves.”
