Charity Runs

One of the most common ways to get involved with a charity is to join one of the many charity runs taking place throughout the year. Here at The Prince of Wales Hospice we host a number of different charity runs, whether you are looking for a charity fun run, or a marathon we can help you to get involved.

Santa Dash

Our Santa dash is just one of the charity runs we take part in, hosted by the hospice you can walk, jog or run around the 2.5 mile course in Pontefract centre.

You can either provide your own Santa Suit or purchase one as part of your entry fee, so you and your family can complete the charity run looking fully festive. In 2014 we also had a team entry for 6 adults - brilliant for anyone who wanted to add a little competition to their fundraising efforts.

If you are looking to get involved with a charity run before Christmas, whether that’s with family friends or colleagues there is no better event that The Prince of Wales Santa Dash. As 7 out of 10 of our patients are cared for by your donations, your entry and sponsorship will make a real difference to your local charity.
