About Des Bate

Des became ill in January 2017 with a chest infection.  After a few tests and scans, Des was diagnosed with renal cancer which had spread everywhere.  He rapidly became ill and was admitted into the hospice for help with his care.  Sadly, Des only survived another 8 weeks.  He passed away with his family by his side.  Des left 2 amazing children who have decided to keep supporting the hospice after the amazing care their dad got, and they will never forget, and lots of memories were made in the gardens of the hospice, for which we are grateful.
Lots of family and friends support this amazing place, and we will always support when we can.

With thanks to...
