More information about the Local Hospice Lottery
The Local Hospice Lottery is a weekly lottery set up for the sole purpose of providing financial support to adult and children’s hospices throughout the UK. We will receive a payment for each player who enters the draw in support of our Hospice. All profits generated by Local Hospice Lottery are donated to hospice care across Great Britain. We will receive between 55% and 80% of all proceeds from individuals playing in support of The Prince of Wales Hospice. From 2016, we expect to raise at least £250,000 over two years.
The Prince of Wales Hospice is one of a number of hospices throughout Great Britain who are supported by Local Hospice Lottery. By sharing management costs and overheads between a number of Hospices, Local Hospice Lottery is able to offer both a larger prize fund and more money to support hospice care. A full list of charities supported, along with full terms and conditions and a players' guide, are available on the Local Hospice Lottery website.
To help us to reach more players, our door-to-door sales representatives will be working throughout the 'Five Towns' community. Each member of the team will be wearing a uniform and will have a Local Hospice Lottery photo identity card. You can also view members of the team on the Local Hospice Lottery website.
