Light up a Life 2021 - Hospice Gardens

Annual service of remembrance
Date: 09 December 19:00 - 20:00

Event Details

Our annual service of remembrance is an opportunity to join us to remember loved ones.

This service will be attended by our patron, Duncan Wood, and the Mayor of Wakefield, Cllr Tracey Austin and Consort Mr Dwain Longley.

Music will be provided by Featherstone Male Voice Choir and Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band.

As the Christmas tree lights are switched on, we will also light candles to remember those we love and miss at Christmastime.

All are welcome to join us for this service, and refreshments will be served afterwards in the Hospice*.

There will also be Christmas stalls in the Hospice reception and all Light up a Life dedications will be on display in the Book of Lights.

This event takes place outdoors and seating is very limited.

*Please be aware that you will be required to wear a face covering inside the Hospice building, and a one way system will be in place.
