Christmas Tree Collection 2026

Are you thinking of buying a real tree this Christmas, but don't like the hassle of getting rid of it after? Leave it to us!  We will dispose of your real Christmas tree for you.

Help us reach our target of recycling 800 trees this year. Register your tree and, in exchange for a donation, in just a few simple steps we’ll arrange to pick up your tree after the festive period.

Collection areas: 

• WF4 (1 and 2), WF6, WF7, WF8, WF9, WF10, WF11

• LS25 (5 and 7) and LS26 9

Collection dates in January 2026: 
Monday 12 – Friday 16 January 2026

How your donation makes a difference: 
Every tree collected and donation received will go towards supporting the vital care we provide to our patients and their families. Did you know that just £20 can fund a bed on our ward for an hour?

Together, we can make a big difference this Christmas.

After costs, 90% of the money raised will come directly to the hospice, with the remaining 10% to be split evenly between two local charities Castleford Tigers Foundation and Smiles for Miles.
