Bank Health Care Assistant

To deliver a range of patient care duties under the supervision of registered nurses providing basic patient care and providing physical, psychological and spiritual needs to people with life limiting illnesses.

Marketing and Communications Assistant

£17,500 to £18,800 (pro rata) per annum
up to 37.5 hours a week
We are looking for a person who will generate ideas and deliver marketing and communications activities to maximise the awareness, understanding and support of the Hospice. This role will be responsible for developing communications internally and externally, taking a departmental lead on the delivery of internal communications and the development and curation of content on social media platforms

Registered Nurse

£23,137 up £30,196 (pro rata) per annum
minimum of 22.5 up to 37.5 (full time) hours a week
We currently have various vacancies for registered nurses to join our forward thinking Hospice. As a Registered Nurse in our team, you’ll be there for people in their time of greatest need and you’ll have the time to dedicate to delivering high quality patient care. The support we offer is tailored to meet individuals’ medical, social, spiritual and emotional needs. We provide specialist care for people who have an incurable, life limiting illness in our 13 bedroom ward which is located in Pontefract just minutes from Junction 32 of M62. We also offer outreach services and run a successful Lymphoedema clinic for patients. We currently have vacancies available for registered nurses for hours ranging from 22.5 to 37.5 hours per week. As a Registered Nurse you’ll care for people in their time of greatest need and, due to our good nurse to patient ratios, you’ll have the time to dedicate to delivering the high quality patient care which really matters. The holistic support we offer to our patients is tailored to meet their medical, social, spiritual and emotional needs.

Lymphoedema Team Leader

£36,000 to £38,000 (pro rata) per annum
up to 30 (over 5 days including weekends) hours a week
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lymphoedema Team Lead to join our Clinical Services team to lead a multidisciplinary team in the provision of a comprehensive lymphoedema service. Our Lymphoedema team provides support to patients, carers and healthcare professionals with the aim of maintaining patients in their own homes, preventing hospital admissions and enabling patients to enjoy maximum independence and optimum quality of life.
