Team of 125 take on Total Warrior for Hospice

Monday, 3 July 2017

This year, Body Design F.I.T, Pontefract entered their largest team ever into the gruelling Total Warrior which saw them take on over 30 punishing obstacles held back by tons of ice and mud in order to raise funds for the Hospice.

The team was formed by Simon at Body Design F.I.T, who has been raising funds for over 20 years after his mum and father-in-law passed away in the Hospice.

The team conquered the course for the fourth year running and this year for the first time, 45 children became warriors and took to the mini version of the event all in the name of fun and fundraising! The total raised is yet to be finalised but the team will be looking to add to their already incredible fundraising total of over £15,000. The group celebrated their achievements at The Ambience, supported by The Kitchen, Airedale and MG Entertainment.

Events and Community Fundraising Assistant, Alice Coggan said “It was great to be there on the day and support this incredible team, they had smiles on their faces all day and the support we’ve received from them has been incredible. Huge thank you to Simon and all the other instructors as well as everyone who took part or supported the team.”
