Hospice Craft Fair Success

Tuesday, 15 November 2016
Last Sunday’s annual Craft Fair saw over a hundred shoppers come to spend their pennies on a variety of stunning homemade gifts, as many made a start on their Christmas shopping. “It was wonderful to see the Fair so busy,” said Katy Lee, Community Fundraising Officer at The Prince of Wales Hospice. “The funds raised by this event will make such a difference to those in the local community who need our support.”

Pat Rhodes, event organiser and volunteer fundraiser for the Hospice commented, “Thanks to the stallholders, it was wonderful to be able to offer such a range of handmade gifts and items. From wood carving to handmade ornaments; the quality of goods available was fantastic.”

Pat has already begun her planning for next year with hopes to build on this year’s success.
