Here’s to another Hospice hero!

Friday, 5 July 2019
Kevin Sutcliffe, from Pontefract, has vowed to conquer the incredible IRONMAN triathlon challenge taking place in Bolton on Sunday 14th July. Competitors endure a 2.4 mile open water swim, immediately followed by a 112 mile bike ride which then leads onto a 26.2 mile marathon... a challenge that’s not for the faint hearted!
Already in awe? Well, the challenge doesn’t stop there! Kevin has just 17 hours to complete this triumphant triathlon, and aims to do so in just under 12 hours!
Kevin is determined to not only complete the IRONMAN triathlon, but to also reach his incredible £1,000 fundraising target in support of patient care at The Prince of Wales Hospice.
Here at the Hospice, we are super excited to cheer him on, and hope you will join us in wishing him the best of luck! We’re certain Kevin will be immensely proud of his incredible accomplishments and will wear his well-deserved medal with pride after crossing the finish line.
If you would like to support Kevin in reaching his £1,000 target, please visit his fundraising page at:
Good luck Kevin!
