Fifteen year old takes on a head shave in aid of the Hospice!

Saturday, 20 April 2019
Fifteen year old Ross has recently raised £450 for The Prince of Wales Hospice, by taking on a head shave, after growing his hair for a year.

Ross was inspired to support his local Hospice after a school friend had taken on the challenge. He decided, he too could make a difference in his local community.

Ross’s parents own Fins Fisheries in Glasshoughton, who have supported the Hospice for many years. Moved by the heart-warming stories they have heard from their customers, the family pledged their support to The Prince of Wales Hospice, and have since raised over £500 through collection tins, and by taking on challenges such as the Great North Run.

The Prince of Wales Hospice would like to thank Ross, and all who have supported his fantastic fundraising efforts. The funds raised will help to support local people affected by life-limiting illnesses, and their families.
