Fifteen year old embarking on a head shave in aid of the Hospice!

Friday, 1 March 2019
Next month, fifteen year old, Ross, is embarking on a head shave in aid of The Prince of Wales Hospice. Ross was inspired by a school friend who took on this fantastic challenge, and decided he too could make a difference within his local community by braving the shave.

Ross’s parents own Fins Fisheries in Glasshoughton, who have supported the Hospice for many years. Moved by the heart-warming stories they have heard from their customers, the family pledged their support to The Prince of Wales Hospice, and have since raised over £500 through collection tins, and by taking on challenges such as the Great North Run.

Their son, Ross, has now been growing his hair for over a year in hope to raise much needed funds to support the Hospice. With nerves and excitement combined, he looks forward to the challenge day next month.

If you would like to support Ross, please stop by Fins Fisheries in Glasshoughton to make your donation.
