Can you help shape hospice care for the next generation?

Thursday, 3 May 2018
Approaching it’s 30th anniversary year, The Prince of Wales Hospice is looking for dedicated, experienced individuals to lead the charity into the next decade and beyond.

We have a number of Trustee opportunities available and are particularly interested in hearing from people who have a strong business background in medical, clinical, allied health, finance, HR or marketing, but would welcome applications from other business areas too.

As a member of the Board of Trustees you would be responsible for working with the Chair of the Board and other Board members to oversee the affairs of the Hospice, which costs over £3m a year to run. You would be helping to steer and monitor the strategic direction of the care provided by the Hospice in the years to come.

Chair of the Board, Gordon Tollefson said; “Becoming a Trustee is a way that you can make a real difference to the Hospice and ensuring it succeeds in its commitment to provide specialist palliative care in the Five Towns community. In return, we can offer you new skills, help your professional development and enhance your CV, as well as introducing you to like-minded people who also want to give something back locally.”

Are you who we are looking for? For further information about becoming a Trustee please contact Lindsay Hamer on 01977 708868.  To apply to become a Trustee please visit www.pwh.org.uk/trusteevacancies or collect an application pack from the Hospice reception.
