Annual Community Led Event Raises £3313.76 for the Hospice

Tuesday, 17 May 2016
The Paul James British Recoiling Championship, which took place on the 10th April 2016 raised a fantastic £3313.76 for The Prince of Wales Hospice.

This annual event takes place in memory of Paul James who did a lot for the sport and his love for springers was legendary on the World circuit, As such the group of fundraisers are honoured to run the event in his name to raise funds for the hospice.
The event brings a really good mix of professional shooters looking to lift the title and people coming for a fun day out; something very unique for the sport.
Event Organiser, Martin Calpin said: “Every year we hold this event to remember our friend Paul James and every year it just gets better and better. As well as helping raise more money for a fantastic cause. It’s a brilliant day out that’s rewarding for all the shooting community, knowing we've made a difference.”
