Michelle throws big community party to mark her final challenge!

The incredible Michelle Grainger pledged to raise a phenomenal £30,000 in our 30th year whilst completing 50 challenges in her 50th birthday year to raise donations for the Hospice.

Michelle recently held a community party which was set to be her final challenge at The Ambience in Pontefract on Saturday 8^th February. The party was organised to say a big thank you to everyone in the community who backed Michelle’s 50 challenges.

The celebrations kicked off at 2pm and the community enjoyed live music, entertainment, food and a raffle. We couldn’t wait for Michelle to reveal the grand total that evening, and we are thrilled to say she’s smashed her target and raised a grand total of £46,103.54 for the Hospice!     

Michelle was recently invited to the Hospice for a celebration lunch and she was welcomed as a Patron of the Hospice in recognition of her incredible fundraising.

We can’t thank Michelle and the community enough for their generosity. The money that’s been raised throughout Michelle’s 50 challenges will make such a huge difference to the lives of our patients and their families.
