Physiotherapist
The Physiotherapist can see patients either in the in-care or when attending the Day Hospice. All treatment or physiotherapy input offered is tailored to individual patient needs. This may involve rehabilitation as far as an illness allows, and aims to enable patients to gain and retain as much independence and quality of life as possible.
Occupational Therapist
Patients can be seen by the Occupational therapist on in-care or when attending Day Hospice. Their role is vital in the assessment and planning for the home environment. They are involved in planning safe discharges home with appropriate equipment and support services. The Occupational therapist is also able to offer therapeutic interventions to patients with activities such as relaxation and fatigue management.
