In patient care

The in-patient team consists of professionals with specialist skills including Consultants, Doctors, Nurses, Social Workers and other Health Professionals

In-patient admission may be required for patients who have a complex physical, emotional or spiritual needs. Treatment and care is based on the expert decisions of the professional team in consultation with the patients, their families and carers.

The length of stay varies according to patient needs,  but many patients are admitted for a short while to help them overcome a specific problems such as nausea, pain and /or  constipation.

The Prince of Wales Hospice also offers terminal care to those at the end of their life.

All meals are prepared using as much fresh produce as possible. Although there is a daily menu with several choices, patients may also make specific requests and the catering team will endeavor to cater for particular tastes.
