Chaplaincy

The Chaplain is available for patients, families and carers, staff and volunteers and is able to offer a listening ear, time, friendship, confidentiality, prayer.  The chaplain is present to share good times as well as sadness, with families and patients. 
There is a small chapel in the hospice if you want to be somewhere quiet to meditate, pray or light a candle

Bereavement Support Service

Provides support before and after bereavement for anyone close to patients, reviewing palliative care and having involvement with the hospice.
The service can also give advice or support in helping children through illness and bereavement.
