Just £9 a month can pay for an hour’s dedicated, professional palliative nursing care each and every month. 

In an hour a nurse may help care for two or three patients battling the advanced stages of a terminal or life-limiting illness. They may administer pain relief, bathe and care for those who are not able to move freely, or offer comfort to a family coping with a difficult situation.

£3 could pay for a nutritious meal for a patient staying on incare.

£5 could buy medical supplies needed daily at the hospice, such as oxygen, thermometers and syringes.

£15 a month could, each year, buy a nebuliser for use by patients with breathing difficulties.
