Donald Reid knew all about The Prince of Wales Hospice. He stayed three times for help controlling his pain, symptoms and the side effects of his medication. He also regained strength after chemotherapy with the help of the hospice cooks.
In between stays the volunteer bus drivers collected Donald for weekly visits to day hospice, where he was monitored by a doctor, had chance to make friends with other patients and even try relaxing treatments. The care also helped Donald’s wife, Val, feel less isolated. Donald Reid
It is thanks to the generosity of people remembering the hospice in their will that we have been able to give our patients just what they need to enjoy the best quality of life that they can.
With a gift in your will we can carry on caring for future generations just as we cared for Donald.
