The hospice provides specialist palliative care. Our multidisciplinary team offers care including:
- Assessment, advice and care for patients and families.
- Specialist in-patient facilities for patients who benefit from the continuous support.
- Day care that offers reviews of patient needs, physical, psychological and social support with creative and complementary therapies.
- Support to all the people involved in a patient’s care, including after bereavement.
- Education and training in palliative care.
Care is provided through our in-patient unit incare, a day hospice, a lymphoedema clinic and a carers support service. For information on each service available, please see the Patient and Family Care section of this website.
All our services are provided in line with the National Council of Palliative Care’s definition of specialist palliative care. |
