You and Your School or Youth Group

Schools can become involved in fundraising for the hospice, whatever the age of the pupils.
Fundraising helps with team building and encourages fun, it is highly educational and could also be incorporated into your curriculum.
We can attend assemblies to give enjoyable and informative talks to groups of children and can tailor our presentation to suit all age groups.
    • Choose us as your charity of the year
    • Book a speaker for an assembly
    • Event ideas for schools and youth groups
    • Join one of our campaigns
    • Take part in one of our events
    • Recycle print cartridges and mobile phones
To support the hospice through your school, please contact Becky Thorpe by email or call her on 01977 781478.
Halfpenny Lane School in Pontefract chose the hospice as their charity of the year and immediately raised almost £800 by filling home collecting boxes with pennies, asking for donations at their ‘Living Statues’ events and also putting on shows locally called ‘A Celebration of Poems, Dance and Song’.
