- At day therapy patients meet other people in a similar situation, gaining social support from each other.
- Patients can access specialist nursing and medical care, including reviews of symptoms and medication and support with emotional and social difficulties.
- Specialist help gaining and retaining physical independence, managing extreme fatigue and getting equipment and support for independence at home, is available from our physiotherapist and occupational therapist.
- Patients can get involved in art and craft therapeutic activities.
- Complementary therapies are also available by appointment as well as group relaxation sessions and the opportunity to learn simple touch techniques.
We offer a 12 week structured programme of support and care with education , relaxation and continuous assessment of need' Patients will be assessed and may be offered self help group or be discharged from the service.
